It must be getting to a point that the right minded people of the United Kingdom finally do something about the mess we call a government in Westminster!

Parliament, its members and the bureaucracy called the Civil Service which supports it need the biggest kick up the backside to remind them they serve all the people not an elite few!

But as always people are happier to sit watching X-Factor and minor air-headed celebrities on the television rather than actually getting up themselves or say something. As always they give the same old excuses it is nothing to do with me or I cannot change anything in Westminster.

Just how lame has this country, the United Kingdom, and it’s people have become?

I think you gather I am getting more angry with the society around me who finds it easier to do nothing even when their very freedoms, rights and living conditions are being eroded away.

Not helped by the fact they do not listen or even talk to each other any more and actually believe they are all islands in a world who do not need any one else but themselves.

In the end you have to love the philosophy of 1990s who put the individual first before society at the detriment of society itself. Now we are paying the price for it and I am not sure everyone is liking the cost any more as society and it support mechanisms start to fall apart around them.

I am losing my sympathy for the people who still hold onto this now outdated and destructive philosophy and the troubles they face are of their own making and could be easily rectified by simply being a real human being again who lives and works in a real society who works and plays together as one.

This has to show just how uncaring modern Britain has become something I witnessed today from my cabin were I was working.

A woman was climbing a set of stairs near by where I was working and she tripped over on the top step and fell on her back and got up rubbing her leg afterwards. There were people walking past who would of seen what had happened and not one stopped to check if she was alright or needed help. If anything from where I observed it was as if they deliberately looked away so they would not get involved.

Myself I had to ask the woman if she was alright luckily she was if a little embarrassed that she had fallen over but at least I had the humanity to go and be prepared to help someone and not look away and ignore it.

This really illustrates what Britain has become, especially since Brexit, that is a country of people who only care for themselves who do not want to get involved just in case things will get difficult even if someone could have been potentially injured.

This is certainly not the Britain I was brought up in but a new Britain which I really do not like as it goes against all the principles of real people of Britain who did help everyone and those who were hurt.

As I keep saying is this really what the people of the United Kingdom an uncaring Britain full of people who just look after themselves?

Things in the United Kingdom are going beyond the Mundane things of work, life and family and becoming more serious and darker with the open rise of bigotry, hate and intolerance since the vote to leave the European Union.

A growing number of what would have been called decent citizens of the United Kingdom in the past have taken the Leave Vote win as a sign to become more intolerant of anyone who do not fit what society thinks is the normal. All reinforced by a right wing government, establishment and media who now constantly feed these people a constant stream of hate, bigotry and intolerance especially against Muslims, Islam, Europeans, the poor, the disabled to name a few.

It now feels like a country run by an extreme right wing government and establishment who are tightening their grip on power for an elite few at the expense of the many using the same tactics as the National Socialists used in 1930s Germany. That is distracting the people with a constant stream of propaganda portraying the Muslims who are evil terrorists who want to destroy the country, Europe as wanting to subvert the sovereignty of our country and finally the poor, disabled and disadvantaged as parasites on society who are draining valuable resources from those who deserve them.

Those of us who are awake here in the United Kingdom and actually have an intelligence and foresight know all the above are lies constructed to provoke fear in the general public so the extreme right wing government, establishment and media can gain more control over our society. It is elegant in it’s implementation as it looks as it hides behind a facade of a government who seams to care for the people, the country and our national identity.

There will still be those out there who will say this is not happening and I am one of those insane and paranoid people whose grip on reality is very tenuous indeed.

There will still be those out there who will say that I am being very dark and alarmist about the United Kingdom.

But if they really think and look hard at what is happening in this country will easily see the signs of what I am talking about with rise of hate crime, rise in homeless and increase of people who are suffering at the hands of a government and society which is caring less for those who have fallen on hard times or fallen ill.

I have to ask them just why is both the United Nations and European Union started to investigate the Conservative government of Mrs May here in the United Kingdom for Human Right violations?

Such groups do not waste their valuable resources investigating things unless something has been going on in the first place.

And just why our Prime Minister Mrs May is in a rush to repeal the European Human Rights Act and replace it with one of our own?

Things in the United Kingdom have gone beyond the mundane and basic politics to a very dark place indeed with undertones of out and out institutionalised isolationism, nationalism and bigotry on a scale not seen since the 1930s!

Angry Days!

Posted: 4 October, 2016 in British Society, Comment, Life, United Kingdom

What makes me angry with what is happening here in the United Kingdom is not the despicable and underhand actions of the Conservative Party and Establishment but the fact a large majority of the British Public stand by watching happening and say nothing!

They simply watch disabled people, old people and disadvantaged among the British suffer at the hands of the government!

They simply watch even condone the open bigotry and abuse of immigrants and Non-White British among the British at the hands of the Brexit supporters.

What do they do?

Absolutely nothing just watch passively almost with the hope if they keep quiet it will not happen to them.

I have news for them if this is not stopped or someone does not speak out against these acts it will happen to them and it will be too late for them because there will be no one there to help them!

Myself I am just wondering at what point will the British Public going to act?

After all the government is currently destroying our NHS, destroying our School System, marginalizing disabled people and even attacking our Human Rights by potentially opting out of the European Court of Human Rights.

And the large majority of the British Public seam to be very happy to let this happen thinking everything in this country is just fine, as always those are people who do not currently need help from the State!

I feel sorry for them as when they need help from the State because they have had an accident to find there is no free medical service or they lose their job and find they are marginalized by the people around them who will treat them as scum and scroungers!

All I will say to them is I and others told you so and we did tell you but you chose not to listen!

I am getting fed up being surrounded both by people and business which put business before people to a point they even forget they are dealing with people who have lives not servants to a business and it’s managers.

It seams it is a modern way of thinking things in our society that serving business comes before serving society as a whole from top to bottom. It manifests itself as a society which now puts money and status before anything else including basic humanity and community.

We have in the end become servants to businesses at the expense of our society as a whole then we wonder why our society is dying on it’s feet as communities die as people work long hours for little money and given no chance to be human being that is be sociable creatures.

It high time we woke up to this fact and put things back to where they should be is that business serves society and not the other way around as we need to claim our lives back again. After all we only have one life to live and business are only human constructs so not real unlike our lives!

This sounds a strange thing to accuse the right wing, especially here in the United Kingdom, of being robbers but they through their actions have robbed me of my patriotism and national pride in my country.

But their constant associating of patriotism and our own national flags with their racist and nationalist politics has poisoned both patriotism and national pride in such a way now both the media and general public now treat both as dirty words.

What I think I am trying to say is that being a patriot and national pride should not be something to be ashamed of and it should be more associated with the more positive aspects of the United Kingdom that is the country is example of a multi-cultural and multi-religious country which works but it is not far from perfect.

We need to redefine being a patriot and our national pride here in the United Kingdom as a people or individual level and focus on the positive aspects of our country and accept the fact that the vary basis of the country is the fact we are all immigrants and as a people especially in England have mixed ancestry.

We seam to conveniently forget early in our own history we are invaded by various Peoples from mainland Europe including Roman, Saxon even Normal who stamped their own cultural identities on our culture.

What I am saying our whole culture here in the United Kingdom is the result of immigrants coming to our shores not by being isolated from the World or Europe. Basically for our culture and society to continue to grow and keep it unique nature we need to stop blaming immigrants for our own problems and allow them to contribute to our society by allowing them to work and contribute to our society as a whole.

Personally I am fed up of the Right Wing especially the Extreme Right Wing here in the United Kingdom poisoning our patriotism and national pride associating it with racist and anti-immigrant message to a point a sizeable minority of people are ashamed such feelings and their own national flags.

This sizeable minority of people should take back our patriotism and national pride back from these extremists in the Right Wing and focus the positive side of such feelings which are for representative of the true nature of the United Kingdom.

Simply put I would like to have a pride for my country without the Right Wing poisonous association with such a pride!
