The EU Referendum Has Grown Beyond the EU Itself!

Posted: 18 April, 2017 in Comment, Life, Politics, United Kingdom

All the EU Referendum has really highlighted in this country of ours is the big divide between people here.

That is those of us who want a progressive, open and forward looking country which can cope with rigours of the modern world who are largely Remain Voters.

Against those of us who want to live in an isolated, closed and backward country which want to hide from the modern world who are largely Leave Voters.

I think is starting to be lost more and more by the Leave Voters who have a very blinkered view of what leaving EU really represents as it’s nothing to getting control back but the future of everything connected to the United Kingdom.

It’s future direction and involvement with the world around it.

The very existence of the United Kingdom itself as a a single entity.

The future of our children and how they survive the unenviable change what will come with technologies especially those connected to the Internet.

EU Referendum is becoming bigger and lot more complex than the Leave Voters thought it would mainly because they failed to see beyond their own closed minds which were only focused on arcane concepts like Nationalism and Patriotism.

It is certainly becoming a real battle between those in the United Kingdom who want to move forward into a brighter, if scary future, and those who want to go back to what they believe a more secure and less scary past!
