Journal of a Lost Soul Part CCCLIX

Posted: 15 May, 2014 in Journal, Life

The 9 day run of shifts has been and gone and I survived them just though at the end I was making silly mistakes because of fatigue. In the end as always it gets me thinking there are really better jobs out there which do not compromise my life and work balance my current job does.

As it far too common nowadays I work for a company which makes all the right noises it want to look after it’s employees but in actual fact does absolutely nothing on the ground. All this regardless of the fact that happy and well balanced employees are very productive. It seams all modern companies see are numbers not people regardless of the fact they depend on people more then numbers.

But hey welcome to the modern world in some ways a hell created by apathetic and stupid by those who think they are more intelligent than everyone else. At least outside of work I am starting to stamp my own personality on my life not in the past live in a way everyone has always expected me to live.

So now life will start to return to normal again until the next time work tries to ruin my life in general. We are currently having a peaceful day as we have found an ideal and inexpensive way to keep our dogs quiet which is fresh bones from a local Butcher. So tonight has been bliss so far as al the dogs are quiet and relaxed as we are.

Oh, next month is going to be the first month in a long time when we will have spare csh because of a nice bonus at work. Some long overdue jobs in the house can be paid for which will start to improve our life here even more!
